Monkey Pose is a deep stretch famously known as Splits. This pose mimics Hanuman’s (the Monkey God) famous leap from the southern tip of India to the island of Sri Lanka, in which the legs of the Yogi are split forward and back. 

This pose will help you maintain flexibility for cardio exercises by stretching your hamstrings, groin muscles, and hip flexors.
